lmaooo TRUTH. also i love laurie. everything about the movie was the worst thing about the movie but i think my least favorite thing was the casting of malin ackerman as laurie, because malin ackerman is maybe actually worse than scarjo at acting like a person you want to ever pay attention to or respect above the basic level of human dignity, and laurie is the best partly because she’s actually the smartest one of the lot in the ways that are actually important.

I know right? I will confess that I actually kind of think ScarJo is pretty good in the right kind of role, but Malin Akerman is terrible and that character is so important. I always think of her as “oh-my-god-i’m-on-mars.” (My other worst casting was that bad Superman where Kate Bosworth was Lois Lane, but that character was so badly written I don’t think anyone could have salvaged that situation.)
