GPOY on hold with a government agency to retroactively cancel my provincial healthcare, which I haven’t been eligible for in nearly two years, but for which I just received a bill for a staggering amount, obviously covering the last two years.
That is a poorly lit photo of me with my OPI Not Like The Movies, which I found in the discount bin at Trade Secrets.
It’s the ugliest colour of nail polish I’ve ever seen. It’s an iridescent that switches between a bottle green and a sickly mauve depending on the light, but it’s often a kind of grey-blue-green glittery bruise colour. It has occasional flecks of glitter.
I love it.
It reminds me of motor oil. It also reminds me of my favourite nail polish from my early teens. It was a turquoise-pink iridescent.
It was the 90s. I thought it was really pretty.
I’ve also had this cardigan since I was about 14. It’s from Club Monaco.
